Hull took a little time to subdue Kirkby Lonsdale who twice led early in the first half before winning 52-8.
Once Hull took the lead, they pulled away to score an emphatic victory and secure second place in Northern Premier League which gurantees their place in a play off for the right to promotion to National Two North.
Kirby Lonsdale opened brightly and a first minute penalty by full back Ryan Terry gave them the lead.
Four minutes later a clean break by Hull full back Lee Birch saw Joe Stafford backing up to score Hull’s first try near the posts allowing off-half Stephen Johnson to kick the simple conversion.
Kirby Lonsdale responded with some forceful attacking play and a good try by scrum-half Ben Walker saw them lead 8-7 after quarter of an hour.
Hull were looking ominous and after 21 minutes centre Tomasi Tanumi ran a fine line to race in from ‘22’ out with Stephen Johnson adding the conversion.
Seven minutes later Hull’s right winger Mike Adlard made no mistake after being given space when he easily outpaced the defence to score a try which went unconverted.
By now Hull were looking dangerous everytime they had the ball and Tanumi rounded off the first half with Hull’s fourth try converted by Johnson as Hull secured their bonus point.
The second half saw Hull dominate in open play and after 60 minutes Harvey Harding, Hull’s scrum half carried two tacklers over the line with him for a try near the posts which Johnson duly converted.
Two minutes later Joe Stafford romped 70 yards on a rampaging run to score Hull ‘s sixth try.
With Hull now completely dominant back row man Liam Fitts was put through to run in unopposed from 25 yards out after 74 minutes.
Hull’s final try two minutes later came as a tired Kirby Lonsdale defence could do nothing to stop centre Ali Heard thunder over after a 40 yard burst for Hull’s eighth try.
