Richard Gore’s match preview

Hull take on Birkenhead Park this weekend and will be hoping to achieve a maximum points haul as they look to consolidate second place in the table.
Birkenhead have had a difficult season with a few heavy defeats that sees them firmly in relegation trouble.
A recent victory against Wirral shows that they lack nothing in spirit but overall their results are such that Hull should be able to add to their win tally.
Gary Pearce is very hopeful that try scoring winger Stephen Hihetah and second row Cameron Curry will rejoin the squad after injuries which will strengthen the team.
Hull will be hoping that the weather stays dry as this will enable them to exploit their pace and all-round attacking ability as the will need to score four tries to achieve a full return for their afternoon’s work.
If Hull can maintain full discipline and eradicate errors that have lead to them conceding possession in some games then a home victory is the most likely outcome.
