Ilkley v Hull RUFC – match preview

Hull will resume their quest for further league points against Ilkley this Saturday.
Ilkley have had a chequered season but have always given a good account of themselves and last time out beat Lymm before having games cancelled due to poor weather.
Hull have had some chastening experiences playing away at Ilkley so they will be hoping to baish tbe memories of last years defeat.
Hull will welcome back Cameron Curry to the squad and this strengthens the options in the second row.
Paul Hamber and Liam Regardsoe have done well for Hull as a pairing at lock but Curry gives Gary Pearce much needed cover.
Recent weeks have seen the Hull pack taking the game to the oppostion and this  has resulted in vital victories and kept momentum going.
Drier grounds may well suit a back division that was scoring tries at regular intervals for Hull before the Christmas break and should that be the case Hull will pose a real threat to their hosts this weekend.
This may well be a close game with the deciding factor being who can keep discipline and ball retention the better.
Hull have every chance to extend tbeir winning run an keep up tbe pressure on Harrogate for second place.
