Hull take on relegation threatened Morley this weekend.
Gary Pearce is well aware of some recruirment the West Riding club has undertaken as they strive to move up the league.
Morley’s recent form has seen three wins in their last five games.
Last week they beat Wirral who themselves beat second placed Lymm the previous week.
Given that Hull drew with Harrogate on their last outing a fortnight ago this game takes on considerable significance as Hull seek to maitain their own promotion challenge.
Hull have worked hard on their lineout which functioned well in against Harrogate in their last game and this will be a key factor again this week.
Talented halfbacks Harvey Harding and Steve Johnson will need to make best use of possession in realising Hull’s attacking potential and will be looking to make inroads into Morley’s half by ensuring, when required, that their kicking game is in good order.
A home win for Hull is by no means a foregone conclusion but if they can find their best form they can record another important victory.
