Don’t over complicate things.
That’s the message from prop Mike Dias ahead of Hull’s trip to Lymm tomorrow.
Letting slip a 17-0 lead a week ago to draw 24-24 against Harrogate is still fresh in the minds of the players who were guilty of letting their opponents back into a ga e that should have been finished.
Dias hopes lessons have been learned in time for a clash against a side challenging Hull for promotion this season.
“Going into Saturday we have worked on our game plan,” Dias said.
“And that’s doing what we did well against Harrogate for periods of the game and sticking to it.
“Sometimes we have tendency to over complicate things instead of just playing simple rugby.
“I think the talk needs to be about us and not Lymm.
“We respect them as a side and what they bring.
“But Saturday is about us turning up with bags of energy and performing, the rest will take care of itself.”
