Hull take on second placed Lymm this week and will be looking to go one better than last week’s draw against Harrogate.
Lymm lost last week to Wirral and their loss to Preston prior to Christmas coupled with Hull’s ability to get bonus points means that the sides are neck and neck with just a point between them.
Hull will be hoping to have Stephen Hihetah back in the squad and he will undergo a late fitness test.
John Aikman, an experienced prop, is now available and will be in the 18-man squad who make the journey over the Pennines to Manchester.
Hull are in a good position at present and although they lost to Lymm in the early part of the season they have matured as aside and will give their hosts plenty to think about on Saturday.
The game will probably hinge on who can control the ball best.
Last week Hull had a much improved lineout performance and they will be working to continue that trend this week.
Hull will be up for the game and the back row players Joe Stafford, Zak Poole and Rupert Kay have been working well together and if they can continue to keep up their level of performance they may well have a major influence on the outcome.
