Bootham pleased with season so far

While the UK comes to a standstill by a few flakes of snow, Ben Bootham has been soaking up the sun Down Under.
No, he wasn’t on standby for ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here,” he’s been doing a bit of travelling.
And while he gloats about Eddie Jones’ side conquering the Wallabies, the prop has had time to reflect on Hull’s season so far.
“The season so far has been a great journey to be involved with,” Bootham said.
“The tough pre-season led to a strong start.
“A few wobbly results followed but it then showed the class of the coaching staff and determination of the team to bring the season back on track.
“The good thing is as we near the half-way mark, out of the two losses and a draw all three were easily winnable games which shows that we have no excuses now not to go the rest of the season unbeaten.
“This will really keep the pressure on the top spot as we don’t want a play-off we want to be the winners, be the dominant team in that league and take the league title.
“Even though I’m away I’m keeping close contact with the boys and the results and I look forward to returning into the Hull camp.”
