Mike wants set piece dominance to continue against Ilkley

Mike Jobling believes set pieces have been the secret to their recent success and will be the key to beating Ilkley this weekend.
Hull beat Wirral 42-7 on Saturday with set pieces working well as the forwards set a platform for the backs to score five of their six tries.
Jobling expects Ilkley to arrive at Chants Ave to challenge Hull in all departments.
“Ilkley have always been a handy side in terms of their tenacity and young backline.
“They will be a tough test but with our current form, I don’t see us taking a backward step as we have made our ambition clear this season.l
“It will be interesting to see what Ilkley bring to the table in terms of set pieces.
“That has been a weapon for us for the last few games and it been the dominant feature again.
“The amount of tries we are scoring is pretty formidable for opposition to see, it just shows our quality to finish teams off.”
