Tom Rice feels a win at Sandal will help ease the pain still felt by the players after their 23-17 loss to Billingham last weekend.
With Lymm dropping points at Kendal following their 7-7 draw, Rice knows it was a chance missed to claw back some ground on the league leaders.
A trip to Sandal, who are bottom of the table might seem like a straightforward fixture, but Rice is determined to return with a win.
“Sandal is not an easy place to go to,” Rice said.
“They are currently down at the bottom end of the table, but they haven’t been far off a win.
“They’ve got off to a bad start but they have settled a bit lately.
“They’ll fancy themselves at home with their strong side line support.
“For us, we’ve got to stick to our processes and turn up with the right attitude.
“The lads are hurting from last week’s lost and have worked really hard this week to put things right.
“Come 3pm the lads will be ready to get back on the horse towards our goal.”
