Hull will make the trip to Harrogate on Saturday with an unbeaten record of two wins and a draw to their credit.
Harrogate have won two games and lost one game against Wirral and as a side relegated last season will be looking to bounce back at the earliest opportunity.
Hull were edged out by Harrogate in the Yorkshire Cup last year and will be looking to avenge that result.
Hull’s pack have combined well during the first three games but have let slip some lineout ball here and there. They have held up well at the scrummage and their all round defence has blunted the attacking capabilities of the sides they have met so far.
Hull will be hoping that full back Lee Birch has recovered from the injury that saw him leave the field during the second half last week but otherwise should have a full squad to choose from.
There are few easy games in this league and Harrogate will offer a real challenge to Hull but if the pack can contain the opposition eighth then Hull have enough ability to keep their unbeaten run going and stay in the upper reaches of the league table.
