Tomasi wants a double celebration

So far in the club’s history, 28 players have played 100 games.
Come teatime, that number should be increased to 29.
Tomasi Tanumi ended last season stranded on 99 and has had to wait four months to bring up the century.
The utility back. Us to reach the milestone and hopes there is cause for a double celebration when the final whistle goes.
“Playing rugby at any level is all I wanted to do when I started playing as a youngster,” Tanumi said.
“Making the move to Hull in 2014, I didn’t know what to expect.
“But I was determined to play every game and do my best for the team whether that was starting the game or coming off the bench as impact.
“It’s been a tough pre-season for the team but we’ve quietly got on about our business and built a stronger squad for this coming season.
“Playing rugby has help me so much in my life, I’ve learnt many things along the way, meet new players and coaches, made long term friends and connections, playing in some outstanding stadiums and travelled to a few places too.
“Today adds to those special moments in my rugby life to reach the 100 mark for the club which I’m so grateful for.
“It’s been an amazing journey with the boys but a win would make this milestone extra special when we got the win.”
