Pearce welcomes return to normality ahead of semi-final

After preparing his players for two games in three days, coach Gary Pearce welcomes a return to normality ahead of Saturday’s Yorkshire Cup semi-final at Harrogate.
Pearce knows last week will have taken a lot out of the tanks of the players and admits that will influence how he plans this week training.
The players are back together this evening on the training pitch for what Pearce describes as a lighter than normal session.
“The players will have a nice light week before going to Harrogate on Saturday,” Peace said.
“We can get back to some normality this week and plan for the semi-final.
“I was really pleased with the two performances last week as I t was a big ask in the warm conditions and hard ground.
“You wouldn’t ask professionals to play two games in three days.
“We played some nice stuff although we tired towards the end of the game.
“We could have done with a bit of rain to be honest.
“The two wins show we are a good side and we could and should have scored more.
“Now our focus is on Harrogate.”
